Join Youth 20/20 CAN
Are you passionate about making a difference in your community during this time but not sure where to start? Are you feeling disconnected during these uncertain times? Maybe you want to give back to the community but you aren’t sure where to start? Maybe you’re a young person between the ages of 15-29 and still want to volunteer during this pandemic?
We explore a variety of issues in our community. Youth volunteers share ideas about projects, events, or activities that matter and that they want to lead and manage. Youth contribute 120 hours of volunteering time before March 31, 2022 and partner with community groups, local businesses, and mentors to turn ideas into reality.
Best of all, there is no cost to join this fun and rewarding program. The benefits include participation in free training and learning events, building connections and networks, gaining employment skills and references, having fun, meeting new friends, and leading and inspiring change in their community.
Our Youth 20/20 CAN program is still up and running during these challenging times and we are spreading joy! Follow our youth2020can Instagram page for more updates!

Moss St. Farmers Market is looking for Volunteers

Volunteers have been a huge part of the success of the Market and we want your time to be enjoyable and fulfilling.  Moss Street Market operates every Saturday, May through October from 10am – 2pm. You do not need to volunteer every Saturday.
The setting is outdoors in all weather. We have a Winter Market the other 6 months, but it does not require volunteers.  If you sign up to be a volunteer, we would prefer you come more than once as our training time is limited the day of the Market.

Please fill out the Volunteer Application form first.
www.mossstreetmarket.com/Support Us
Occasionally, people show up the day of the Market wanting to volunteer, but we already have filled the positions and the potential volunteers are disappointed.
Volunteer times:
9:30am – Noon
Noon – 2:30pm
At this time, we use volunteers at the Information Tent, the Online Orders Tent, helping with set-up and tear-down, and aiding vendors.
Questions: mossstreetmarketactivities@gmail.com
