Task

​​TASK - TRADES AWARENESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

​CURIOUS ABOUT TRADES?

In the TASK program, students will have the opportunity to explore five different trades:
  • Carpentry
  • Electrical
  • Plumbing
  • Sheet Metal
  • Welding
They will also earn three different certifications:
  • WHMIS
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Fall Protection
The TASK program allows students to experience hands-on, project-based learning within a high school, college and job site setting. Through classroom and shop instruction, and work experience placements, students can earn 24 credits. The TASK programs run every second semester at Lambrick Park Secondary.
