​Dual Credit programs and courses let you earn high school and college credits at the same time. South Island high school students can take advantage of Dual Credit opportunities in trades, technology, health and human services, business, sport and exercise, and arts and science.
Why take Dual Credit?
You can save time and money by taking Dual Credit programs and courses offered through the South Island Partnership (SIP). You'll be a college student while you're still in high school!
How much will it cost?
In almost all cases, the cost of your Camosun tuition will be covered by the school district. You will be responsible for the application fee, textbooks, and any personal safety gear or other supplies that may be required. As a SIP student, you will be exempt from paying Camosun's student society fees (which means you won't be eligible for the subsidized bus pass.)
What can I study?
Dual Credit opportunities are available in trades, technology, health and human services, business, sport and exercise, and arts and science. In many programs, seats are reserved especially for SIP students. Each school district in the partnership offers a variety of options.

Where will I study?
Some classes are held in a high school, others at Camosun, and sometimes both locations are used. There are also online courses available.
Who can participate?
Students in School Districts 61 (Victoria), 62 (Sooke), 63 (Saanich), 64 (Gulf Islands), and 79 (Cowichan) are welcome to participate.
