TRU Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering Virtual info session March 3rd @ 5:00pm2/19/2021 On behalf of the UBC Engineering Physics Program, I would like to invite you, your students, and your students' parents to attend an online information session on the evening of Tuesday, February 23rd, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Engineering Physics is a broad engineering degree with extra emphasis on physics and mathematics. In addition to core engineering skills (mechanical, electrical, software), engineering physicists are equipped with a deep understanding of fundamental science and analytical methods to tackle challenges at the forefront of any field, from biotechnology and medicine to quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and aerospace. We believe our program, one of the most rigorous and challenging at the undergraduate level, will be of interest to your strongest math and science students, especially those who want to pursue careers in research, invention, and entrepreneurship. Please share this email with any students who might like to attend, or with any colleagues who teach or support senior science and math students. We kindly ask that anyone who is interested please register for the event at the link directly below. We will email registrants with a Zoom link on the morning of the event (Feb 23rd). Space is limited, though we will post a recording of the session on the event website after the event.
