On Thursday, March 7th SIP and Camosun are hosting a Health Exploration Event at Interurban Campus' Centre for Health and Wellness. Students will have the chance to see the learning spaces, and hear from instructors about the Health Care dual credit offerings available in the Fall 2024 and Winter 2025.

Find Your Fit is an interactive event that helps students discover and explore a range of high in demand opportunity occupations in BC. Students will have approximately 45-50 minutes at the event. Grade 9's will be called down to the gym on March 4 and grade 10's will be called to the gym on March 5th. Grade 11 and 12's will have the opportunity to sign up through Ms. Giesbrecht for focus block on March 5th.
Registration is required for grade 11 & 12 students as spots are limited. Register here More Details
The "green economy" is changing the face of the workplace in BC and around the world. This day is dedicated to students in secondary school to learn about exciting and endless career opportunities. Futures is much more than a career fair as it allows you to interact with career mentors from various sustainability related careers who have excelled in and are passionate about their green careers. This interactive career workshop will be offered free of charge to 150 young people and will allow participants the opportunity to: • Meet and interact with amazing and successful people who will share their sustainability career paths in breakout sessions where career mentors will share their career journeys • Learn about emerging sustainability career opportunities in B.C. and internationally • Listen to an inspirational keynote address from Dr. Nicholas Coops – UBC Professor and Canada Research Chair in Remote Sensing for forest productivity and conservation • Listen to Geneviève Noel, a visionary inventor with an entrepreneurial spirit, founder of Mindful Architecture and Mindful Innovations • Find out what it takes to reach your goals The workshop will conclude with a wrap-up session and a chance for the participants to win prizes, including a $500 scholarship.
